Earth Hour

even klcc turn off the lights!! :)

While I was sleeping, I heard my phone went *beep beep* .. hmmm theres a msg.. so I got up and read it.. it was from my dear mum.. she told me that she and daddy had closed all the lights in order to show support to the Earth Hour.. I replied telling her to check on the doors since the so called penyangak would be active during this time... kan? kan??

so after that I woke up, showered and had my breakfast...

hours later,I decided to switch off the lights in my house at 8.30 pm, altho some of you might think its overrated.. I am still up for it.. Firstly, it is only for one hour and my housemates will all be in their room minding their own business so rather than keeping the lights in the hallway and landing on. I switch it off!!! I do believe that some people get all semangat in doing it for a day but try making it a habit by switching off the lights when not in use :)...

In the UK,
we are required to recycle all our boxes, glass, tins and paper. At first, I was complaining since in malaysia kiter buang sekali harung but since the global warming was a big issue I gave in and start to recycle. Here, usually you have to pay for your plastic bag when you want to buy something (books or clothes and etc) so for me i usually stuffed it in my big jumboooo bag as plastic are not easy to recycle and they are non-degradable product :). The bank here has also done their part by having a paperless statement to help environment by reducing numbers of trees being chopped down..

so to those tue.. try to recycle...its the new IN thing!!!
